Explore Duiwelskloof Lanquedoc hikers heaven

The trail starts in the Banhoek Concervancy and goes into the Great Drakenstein mountain and close to Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. You will enter an unforgettable untouched fairy world within remote and rugged ridges. The hike offers amazing natural beauty, crystal clear mountain streams, great views, waterfalls, boulders, orange beach wood trees, Wild fig tree, wild Olive tree, moss-covered rocks, verdant ferns and the formudable Devil’s Tooth. There is also a good chance of seeing wildlife like Eland and Oryx. Also cooling off in one of the many small waterfalls, streams or pools.

Hike includes a 15 minute tour of the Slave momuments and walk in the streets of Pniël
Hike along the vineyards to the VOC Silvermine Ruins. Beautiful mountain Fynbos, Orange Beechwood forest, clear mountain streams and safe manmade caves dug by the VOC during the 1700’s looking for silver. A torch or headlamp is a must.
